Corkwork Bobbins
An updated version of the old cotton reel bobbins (they’re all plastic now). Suitable for ages of 3 upwards. They come with either 4/6 wood or 4/6/8 metal pegs, a blunt needle for lifting the stitches and instructions.
Circular Frames
Also in the corkwork section come our circular frames. These are a large version of the basic bobbin, coming with either metal pins for thinner yarns or wooden pegs for chunky yarns. These can be used to make larger tubes for wrist warmers, dolls hats or to make a piece of 'flat' knitting. Standard sizes are 40 metal pin or 24 wooden peg but other sizes can sometimes be made to order.
