Woollens

Our woollen products consist mainly of items produced using our own equipment.

The fleeces we use all come from farms local to where we live.

Rugs

We produce three styles of rug:

the first - and our favourite - is made using raw fleece and woven on one of our peglooms with 8mm pegs. This gives a fairly chunky rug that is wonderfully soft and luxurious.

the second style requires that the fleece is first spun into very chunky yarn before being woven on a pegloom with 6mm pegs. This results in a firmer rug with a more defined pattern.

the final style is also woven on a 6mm pegloom, this time using commercial rug wool several strands at a time. This gives the hardest wearing rug and allows for different colours other than natural to be used.

Shoulder Bags

made using fleece hand-spun into medium chunky yarn, these are made on a 6mm pegloom, lined and with straps woven from the same yarn.
